In Europe, Messi went on to become arguably the best football player to ever play the sport.
After winning the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with Argentina, Messi left PSG to join Inter Miami, where he has scored 11 goals and assisted five in 12 appearances across all competitions.
Back in 2017, Messi spoke about a potential return to Old Boys. As per the Daily Mail, he said: “I've said many times that my dream is to play at Newell's but I don't know what will happen, and a part of that doubt is due to the way the country is at the moment.
