Lionel Messi had a priceless reaction when a young fan tried to hand him a Cristiano Ronaldo shirt.
Messi and Ronaldo have shared the world stage for over 15 years, having won a total of 12 Ballon d'Or awards between them. It is a rivalry rooted in Spain, when the pair were playing for Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
These days, Messi plies his trade at MLS side Inter Miami, having made the switch from Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.

Ronaldo, meanwhile, currently plays his football in Saudi Arabia for Al Nassr, where he sits top of the goalscoring charts after scoring an impressive brace last time out.
But despite playing in different continents, fans have continued to debate who is better, with one supporter thrusting a Ronaldo Al Nassr shirt in Messi's face, drawing a shocked reaction from the 36-year-old.

But one young fan was brave enough to bring a Ronaldo jersey to the gathering, sparking an unusual reaction from the World Cup winner.
Messi appeared shocked to see Ronaldo's shirt, before blankly staring at the young fan who was holding it.
The Argentine is favourite to win his eighth Ballon d'Or on Monday after leading his country to World Cup glory in Qatar.
Speaking on CBS Sports, Thierry Henry claimed that no one could argue with Messi winning the award, despite Erling Haaland's brilliance last season.

Henry said: “I mean a lot of people can debate that but for me if you win the World Cup, the way he did it, we can talk about what happened in the final.
“As a Frenchman, I was a little bit disappointed with how it finished but you can’t say that it isn’t deserved if he wins it.”
The former Arsenal forward added: “A lot of people can claim that Man City players, Haaland and some other players can also say ‘why not me?’ but you can’t say that it’s not right if he wins it.
“You have the history at times where I’m thinking about Lewandowski, they decided to say there will not be a Ballon d’Or but there was football. Why was the guy not allowed to win his Ballon d’Or?”
