The Leeds United fan who fell from the top tier of Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge is reportedly a football hooligan who was jailed for punching a goalkeeper.
On Wednesday night, Leeds travelled to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Despite a valiant effort, Daniel Farke’s men were knocked out right at the death by a late Conor Gallagher goal, which sealed a 3-2 victory for Chelsea.

After the match, a video of a fan falling from the top tier of the stadium went viral as medics were seen rushing to the scene to help out.
At the time, Leeds released a statement that read: “Leeds United can confirm an incident involving a Leeds United supporter occurred in the Shed End of Stamford Bridge during the first-half of tonight’s FA Cup game.
“The incident is being investigated and is in the hands of the emergency services. We will be making no further comment at this time.”

As reported by the Daily Mail, the fan in question is named Aaron Cawley, who is 33 years old.
The report claimed that Cawley was once jailed for four months and was also handed a six-year ban from football.
Back in 2012, Cawley reportedly ran onto the pitch and attacked then-Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.
When he was 16, Cawley was banned from football for three years for violence.

The Foxes, who are well on course to make an immediate return to the Premier League, knocked out Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The FA Cup is likely Chelsea’s last chance for silverware this season after their dreadful start to the campaign left them well behind the top teams.
In their first Wembley visit, Mauricio Pochettino’s men were beaten by Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final last weekend.
