Jose Mourinho was invited to wave the checkered flag at the end of Sunday's Portuguese Grand Prix after he visited a MotoGP paddock for the first time.
'The Special One', who has been out of work for more than two months after being relieved of his duties at Roma, is ready to make a much-anticipated return to football.
Speaking to Portuguese outlet A Bola at the Grand Prix, he was asked about his next steps.

“For the moment there’s zero news, zero news," he said. "I don’t have a club, I’m free, but I want to work. Don’t worry, this summer I want to go back to work. My life is football, I can coach anywhere, I have no problems.”
For the time being, Mourinho is enjoying life away from football. He recently watched Anthony Joshua's emphatic second round knockout win over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
And on Sunday afternoon, he was the special guest at the Portuguese Grand Prix as Pramac Racing driver Jorge Martin finished first at the Algarve International Circuit.

A second commented: "When I say that Real Madrid is bigger than football it is because of things like this," while another commented: "Absolute cinema."
A fourth added: "The craziest combo I’ve ever seen."

"I watch a lot of Formula One," he said. "This is my first time here. I am connected by passion and by friends. I have friends in MotoGP. I have a passion for it. I watch it regularly.
"My life is not the easiest one, so this is the first time I've had this opportunity."
