Jose Mourinho has lifted the lid on the most famous person in his contact list...

Jose Mourinho has revealed who the most famous person in his phone contact list is.

The 61-year-old is back in the managerial hot-seat after agreeing to become the new head coach of Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Mourinho had previously been out of work since January, when he was relieved of his duties by Serie A side AS Roma after two years in charge of the club.

He had previously been linked with a shock return to the Premier League with Manchester United and has reportedly received various offers from the spending powers of the Saudi Pro League. However, will now take his infamous talents to the Super Lig, in a bid to add more titles across his illustrious career.

While his attention will soon shift to the transfer window and his first pre-season in charge at the club, Mourinho took some time to work as a pundit for the Champions League final between his former club Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.

While on TNT Sports for the fixture, the Portuguese tactician was questioned by Rio Ferdinand regarding the most famous person on his phone contact list.

To which he replied: "At the moment, it is the president of Fenerbahce."

Mourinho will inherit a strong Fenerbahce squad for the 2024/25 campaign, after the club fell just short in their efforts to secure the league title last season. Galatasaray topped the table with 102 points, while The Yellow Canaries followed closely in second - just three points behind.

He will also encounter a familiar face at the club in Fred, who was signed by United while he was still in charge at Old Trafford in 2018.

The Brazilian featured just 12 times under Mourinho, who was sacked by the Red Devils shortly after Fred arrived at the club.

He is now a first team regular at Fenerbahce, so some bridges may need mending if the new manager's arrival is to go smoothly!
