Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson could be sold by Ajax after just five months at the club, according to a new report.
Henderson ended his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq by mutual consent in January in order to join the Dutch giants.
The 33-year-old left Liverpool last summer as part of an influx of European talent to Saudi Arabia, with Henderson playing under Reds legend Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq.

His move to Ajax was intended to provide some much-needed leadership and experience to a young squad that had struggled in the Eredivisie up to that point.
The club's faith in Henderson was proven when he was given the captain's armband for just his fourth match - a 2-2 draw against NEC Nijmegen.
But in March, the midfielder suffered an injury that ruled him out of the international break with England and caused him to miss five matches.

He made a return for last week's 4-1 win over already-relegated FC Volendam, but fifth-placed Ajax are already guaranteed to miss out on Champions League football for next season.
They were also knocked out of the Europa Conference League at the hands of Aston Villa.
As a result, according to The Athletic, the futures of senior players such as Henderson and ex-Tottenham winger Steven Bergwijn appear to be under threat.
It is claimed that financial problems at the Johan Cruyff ArenA may force Henderson to leave the club, while it is said there is a 'feeling' that prominent players 'were enticed by a project which is yet to show signs of materialising'.

Henderson signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Ajax upon his arrival in January, meaning he is contracted to the club until the summer of 2026.
Were he to leave the Dutch giants, his next destination would be unclear - but, according to comments made at his Ajax unveiling, a return to the Saudi Pro League is off the cards.
Henderson said: "Looking back at the time [making the Saudi move], it was a big decision and one I felt was right for me.

"Things change quickly in football, and I'm happy to make this decision [signing for Ajax]. I felt this opportunity was too big to turn down for me.
"In life, if you want to call them regrets on mistakes you can, but they're only mistakes if you don't learn from them, and I learnt a lot of things about Saudi."
