A new report has emerged revealing the supposed real reason Jimmy Bullard quit I’m A Celebrity All Stars, which resulted in a war of words with actor Adam Thomas.
Former Premier League footballer Bullard and actor Thomas became embroiled in a heated exchange after the former pulled out of a trial, which at the time meant the actor would also be sent home in line with the show’s rules.
After Thomas completed his part of the Bushtucker Trial, Bullard effectively refused to do his bit before saying, “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.”
The pair then became embroiled in a heated exchange, with Thomas kicking a cage door before shouting: “Are you f****** taking the p***?”

Bullard replied: “Whoa, whoa, whoa — calm down, that’s pathetic!”, before Thomas called him a “p****”.
“I’ve done all that… for him to say ‘I’m A Celeb’,” the actor added as he walked off set, while a barrage of expletives was edited out.
Later in the show, Thomas confronted Bullard once more, saying: “If you wanted to go, then f****** go — don’t take me with you.”
“Tell me why! All you had to do was run through some f****** mud and you said, ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’”
Bullard defended his decision, explaining: “It ain’t about that, I wanted to go home.”
Thomas responded: “Well, go home then — in camp!
“Don’t do it on my f****** watch.”
Real reason for Jimmy Bullard's I'm a Celeb exit
A report from The Sun has since suggested that the reason for Bullard’s exit was that he was “desperate” to return home due to a “family crisis”.
“Jimmy was ready to go home,” a source reportedly told the outlet.
“He was desperate to get back to the UK as he was facing a family crisis.
“Jimmy knew he’d done what he went in there to do and was happy to take the money and run.
“His dad was struggling with his health before he flew out, and when there was the chance to pack it in, he took it.”
The outlet also claims that Bullard and Thomas remain at loggerheads, having not spoken since the incident, despite efforts from the production team to smooth over the pair’s feud ahead of the I’m A Celebrity All Stars live final. It is suggested Bullard is not expected to attend — a move which may result in the former footballer losing 20 per cent of his show fee.
“It’s a very sad turn of events,” the source added.
“Both men acted in a way they’re not proud of.
“It’s so bad, in fact, that Jimmy says there’s no way he’ll be turning up on Friday, which means he won’t be paid his full show fee.
“Jimmy snubbed going to the All Stars press launch last month so everyone knows he’s serious.
“It doesn’t look good for him going forward with other TV commitments because he’ll be seen as a bit of a risk and unreliable.
“However, he’s been adamant for months that there’s no going back with Adam and he is prepared to face the consequences.
”It’s a shame both Adam and Jimmy have not been able to find a resolution and move past it. Fans will be gutted.”
