Jamie Vardy's reaction to a 'horrendous' move that could harm a potential move to Wrexham has been revealed.
Last Thursday, Vardy shocked the world of sport when he announced that he would be leaving Leicester City at the end of the season after 13 years with the club.
However, the Premier League legend also confirmed that, despite his age, he would not be retiring from football and will look to continue his career elsewhere once he becomes a free agent at the end of the season.

Although remains to be seen which clubs will register an interest in the 38-year-old striker, many fans had hoped that he could link up with Wrexham, but there is one thing might hold the move back.
Having sealed their third successive promotion over the weekend, Wrexham, who are owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, are the favourites to sign the former England international on a free transfer.
But, after links between Vardy and the Red Dragons emerged, details of a controversial incident between the striker and former Wrexham defender Nat Knight-Percival during the 2011/12 season resurfaced online.

At the time, Vardy played up front for Fleetwood Town in the National League and in a a 1-1 draw that saw Wrexham miss out on promotion, the striker produced a brutal challenge on Knight-Percival.
However, Vardy's reaction to the moment could prove to be his saving grace should Wrexham make a move for him this summer, as Knight-Percival's teammate Joe Clarke confirmed that he immediately apologised for the challenge.
Clarke said: “We’ve looked back at it and even in the match we couldn’t believe he was still on the pitch, but then the referee didn’t even give a foul, which is just shocking.
“We’ve talked about it and there’s only so much you can talk about it. It is just one of those decisions that happen, but luckily enough Nat is okay. Vardy did apologise afterwards, but still the referee has got a decision to make and he didn’t do very well in that one either.”

But, it's safe to say that Wrexham’s then-manager Andy Morrell wasn't quite so calm about Davies' decision not to send Vardy off no matter how sorry he may have been
"We played well and we stood up,” Morrell told BBC Sport after the match. "Thought it was two very good teams going head-to-head trying to win the game.
"I'm disappointed with a point really because I thought we could have nicked the three.

"There should've been a sending off, and it was horrendous from (Jamie) Vardy. He left the floor with two feet and Nat (Knight-Percival) could've got seriously injured."
