Jamie Carragher has made his feelings clear on Gareth Southgate's provisional England squad for Euro 2024.
Southgate named his 33-man provisional England squad for Euro 2024 on Tuesday, which will be whittled down to 26 players for the summer tournament in Germany.
He selected the likes of Adam Wharton, who has shone for Crystal Palace since his transfer from Blackburn Rovers, James Maddison and Jarell Quansah, among others.

Marcus Rashford, who has had an underwhelming campaign for Manchester United this season, was omitted from Southgate's party.
He took to social media to respond to being left out of the provisional squad.
Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling and Reece James to name but a few were also excluded from the provisional England squad.
Carragher likes the team the 53-year-old has picked, claiming it's a 'bold' group of players.

But the Liverpool legend has also come up with a theory when assessing the 33-man provisional squad.
On X, he wrote: "I like the provisional @England squad Gareth has picked, it’s bold & has some exciting young talent in."
Carragher added: "But it does have the feel of a squad a new manager would pick after a tournament is over. Out with the old in with the new!"
Southgate fielded questions from the assembled media as he revealed his England squad.

On the squad balance, he explained: "If we picked tomorrow we might end up taking a dozen defenders because we have so many [injury] questions, and we obviously don’t want to do that. Hopefully in time things become clearer.
"I also think you can take too many forwards. With forwards you’ve got to give them love and make them feel special, and if you have too many you cannot do that.
"I would have liked it to be have been more decisive and cleaner."
