Wrexham star James McClean has stunned fans with his latest social media activity.
McClean’s teammate, William Boyle, took to Instagram to announce that he had applied to be on the Professional Footballer’s Association players’ board.
Boyle said: “Through my own lived experiences I have found professional football an all-consuming environment. It can provide a powerful sense of belonging, connection and purpose while equally posing many challenges, notably for me around self-identity and self-understanding.
“I have utilised the PFA's various services throughout my career to date. These opportunities have allowed me to step out of the football bubble that I often find myself in and provided me with a different perspective.
