Members of Manchester United’s first-team squad have reportedly told Jadon Sancho to apologise to manager Erik ten Hag.
Earlier in the month, Sancho was criticised after being left out of the squad to face Arsenal in the Premier League.
When asked about his decision, Ten Hag said: “Jadon was [absent] on his performance on the training.

“We didn't select him. You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices on the frontline, so for this game, he wasn't selected.”
However, Sancho reacted by releasing a statement of his own.
He wrote: “Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week.

“I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair!
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to the team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and I am grateful to do so, which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
After that, Sancho has reportedly refused to apologise to Ten Hag and has now been ‘completely exiled’ from the squad as his United future remains uncertain.

According to the Daily Mirror, some of Sancho’s teammates have urged the 23-year-old to apologise to the manager.
It is believed that Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw are amongst those who have asked Sancho to swallow his pride and say sorry to Ten Hag.
The report claimed that Sancho’s teammates have warned him that there will only be one winner if the battle with Ten Hag continues.
A source told the publication: “Jadon's team-mates have been telling him to back down and say sorry to the boss. They want him to apologise. They sympathise with him and the way he feels, but recognise a line was crossed with what he posted.”
