Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr was named the winner of FIFA's Best Men's Player of the Year.

FIFA have revealed the full breakdown of votes for the Best FIFA Men's Player of the Year.

On Tuesday evening, Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr was named the best male player of the year, finishing ahead of the likes of Rodri, Jude Bellingham, Dani Carvajal and Lamine Yamal.

The Brazilian received 48 scoring points compared to Rodri's 43 and Bellingham's 37.

Lionel Messi, Toni Kroos, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Florian Wirtz and Federico Valverde rounded off the top 10.

After the ceremony, FIFA revealed who each country's captain and coach voted for in this year's awards.

To pick out a few, England captain Harry Kane voted for Rodri, Bellingham and Vinicius as his top three.

Croatia skipper Luka Modric voted for three of his Madrid teammates in Vinicius, Bellingham and Carvajal.

Egypt and Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah went for Vinicius as his top choice, with Rodri and Carvajal also included in his votes.

Meanwhile, Spain captain Alvaro Morata overlooked Vinicius as he opted for the Spanish trio of Carvajal, Rodri and Yamal.

In terms of coaches, then-England interim boss Lee Carsley's top pick was Bellingham, followed by Rodri and Yamal.

France boss Didier Deschamps selected Vinicius, Mbappe and Rodri. You can see the full breakdown of votes here.

For the other awards, Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho took home the Puskas Award for scoring the best goal of the year.

Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez was named the goalkeeper of the year with Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti winning the trophy for coach of the year.

Forwards: Lamine Yamal (Barcelona/Spain), Erling Haaland (Man City/Norway), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid/Brazil)
