A referee at Euro 2024 has left the tournament with immediate effect after being 'dismissed' by UEFA.
The best officials in Europe are in Germany for the Euros, but ONE referee won't be taking charge of any more games at the tournament.
According to Spanish outlet Carrusel Deportivo, Gil Manzano won't be refereeing any more matches at Euro 2024.

He returns home after refereeing just one match - France vs. Austria, where he booked Kylian Mbappe for reentering the pitch without his instruction.
Reports claim Manzano is needed in Spain, with a report claiming a 'Spanish representative on the arbitration commission is urgently needed'.
However, Relevo claim Manzano has been 'dismissed' by UEFA for his performance at Euro 2024.

Manzano, who has taken charge of several El Clasico games during his career as a referee, made headlines for the wrong reasons when he sent off Jude Bellingham during a controversial La Liga fixture between Valencia and Real Madrid last season.
He blew his whistle just moments before Bellingham scored for Real against Valencia.
The England star protested the decision, resulting in a sending off.
Manzano was slammed for his decision to rule out Bellingham’s goal.
Advert
The Spanish referee was given an unofficial two-match ban as he was left without a game to referee for two La Liga gameweeks.
So, Manzano won't be taking charge of any games in the knockout stages of Euro 2024.
But Poland's Szymon Marciniak and Premier League referee Michael Oliver are among the referees who have been appointed for ties in the last 16.
Advert
Marciniak will referee Saturday's match between Italy and Switzerland while Olivier has been appointed to officiate Germany and Denmark.
