England fans were unhappy with what Gareth Southgate and his players did after receiving their runners-up medal.
It was yet another bitterly disappointing night for English football as Spain clinched Euro 2024 glory on Sunday.
Nico Williams and second-half substitute Mikel Oyarzabal scored either side of Cole Plamer’s goal as La Roja came away 2-1 winners at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
During the trophy presentation, England fans were left unimpressed by the actions of Southgate and the players.

On social media, one fan said: “I know second sucks, but I seriously salute the England players who keep their medals on rather than immediately removing them. It’s still a big achievement and I think taking them off is just disrespectful tbh.”
Another tweeted: “Disgusting watching the England players take their medals off the second they receive them. So disrespectful and sore losers doing that.”
A third fan added: “England players that receive a medal then immediately take it off during the presentation goes down in my estimation. Just accept it and take honour in the fact you got something out of the game even if it's not what you wanted.”
Someone else wrote: “How embarrassing it is to see the players take off their medals, they are role models for young football fans around the world.”

A fifth commented: “England team aren’t the first to do it but I don’t like players taking their losers medals off as soon as the are presented to them.”
Speaking after the final, a crestfallen Jude Bellingham said: “It's really disappointing because at some point we do have to deliver, but there are experiences and there's things we can take from this tournament going forward.
“I suppose if you look at everything negatively, nothing will ever change. So it's important we pick the positives and the negatives together and find a way to one day get England over the line. I came here to win. We came here to win. Like I said, there's experiences that we can take going into the next one.”
