Eden Hazard has revealed how his family reacted to him kicking ball boy Charlie Morgan.
Back in 2013, Hazard’s Chelsea side travelled to the Liberty Stadium to take on Swansea City in the League Cup semi-final.
The home side were leading 2-0 from the first leg when ball boy Morgan, 17, tried to hold on to the ball in the 80th minute and lay on it.

In a desperate attempt to retrieve the ball, Hazard kicked the youngster, who then rolled around holding his ribs.
The Belgian was subsequently sent off and was also given a three-match ban.
11 years on, Hazard has now reunited with Morgan and sat down for a chat, during which the former Real Madrid star revealed how his family reacted to the incident.

Hazard said: “My mum was like almost crying. She was like ‘you kick a boy’. I was like no I didn't even touch him I just wanted the ball.”
Morgan then said: “I left that game thinking this was gonna be a small thing. I was quite good friends with a lot of the Swans players at that time.
“There was like a big night out celebrating. Obviously we were in the finals. I get home at like 5.30pm so it was like a super late night right.”
He continued: “Mum has a phone call at 6am. The front door is on ITV News and Sky Sports News. Luckily I was home 30 minutes before that so they didn't see anything. For like a month it was like all the newspapers outside my house like Fox News, Sky News, the paparazzi etc.”

Hazard then joked: “You became famous!”
Since that incident, Morgan has become a very successful entrepreneur. His vodka brand, AU Vodka, is now stocked in the likes of Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Tesco, Costco, Sainsbury's and Asda.
Back in 2022, Morgan told Wales Online: “The coming year, our focus is really on smashing into the American market. We have recently launched our E-commerce platform covering 31 states across the US so customers are already able to get our products delivered straight to their door.

“Having had over 28,000 sign-ups to the USA website prior to launch we’re expecting that there will be a huge interest in Au Vodka within the states.”
