Cristiano Ronaldo has caused a bit of a stir after being spotted wearing shoes that were not made by Nike.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has been signed to the swoosh brand for over 20 years now and is the undisputed face of their football brand.
In 2016, Ronaldo signed a lucrative, lifetime deal with Nike and has worn over 70 different pair of their boots, including his own bespoke CR7 versions.
Said to take home £147 million per year from Nike, Ronaldo also has access to a secret website which allows him to order whatever he wants.

However despite the freebies, Ronaldo was seen wearing footwear made by one of Nike's rivals.
Ronaldo was recently playing padel tennis with friend Miguel Paixao and a picture of the two was posted online.
Although he is not believed to have any deal with them, the Al Nassr star can clearly be seen wearing Asics trainers.

The Portuguese superstar has been seen wearing Louis Vuitton and Gucci but not a direct competitor to Nike in the running shoes market.
He did previously wear Nike trainers on the court but controversially opted for Asics on this occasion.
It follows on from him appearing to wear Adidas shinpads while in pre-season action for Al Nassr against Celta Vigo last year.

In 2022, Ronaldo's son Cristiano Jr received backlash after wearing Adidas products.
Ronaldo's mum Maria Dolores, shared a snap of her and her grandson to her 2.6 million followers.
He had a Nike hoodie but Adidas socks and sliders, prompting many critical comments.
Ronaldo was furious and decided to bite back by responding: "He wears what he wants. Not what you want."

Ronaldo is currently on a break after his involvement in Euro 2024 with Portugal and is expected to join up with Al Nassr for pre-season in the near future.
