According to CNN, the Al-Nassr attacker earns a whopping $3.23 million (£2.57m) per Instagram post, while long-term rival and Inter Miami star Lionel Messi earns $2.6m (£2.07m).

The next highest ranking celebrity is Kylie Jenner, who earns around $1.8m (£1.43m) every time she shares a post with her near-400m followers.
Ronaldo's earnings from social media have sky-rocketed in recent years; as recently as 2019, he was earning around £755,000 per sponsored post.
Ronaldo became the highest earning athlete on the planet when he joined Al-Nassr after leaving Manchester United at the end of 2022.
