The player that was sold by Al Nassr to make way for Cristiano Ronaldo has been banished by his new club.
Vincent Aboubakar was sold by the Saudi Pro League side at the start of the year so they could sign Ronaldo following his second stint at - and dramatic exit from - Manchester United.
They had reached their full quota of foreign players and weren't ready to pass up the opportunity to sign the five time Ballon d'Or winner, so had to be rid of one player. Aboubakar was that man.
Aboubakar scored 19 goals in 39 games for Al Nassr between 2021 and 2023 and looked to have settled and been enjoying his stay.

He was shocked to see his contract ripped up however, and had to look for a new club.
That new club was to be Besiktas, who he joined on a free transfer having spent time on loan with the Turkish side previously.
Things seemed to be goind well for him, until he was banished by the club alongside four other players this week.
Former Manchester United man Eric Bailly, Rachid Ghezzal, Jean Onana and Valentin Rosier have also been dropped, with the club citing "poor performance" and "incompatibilities within the team" as reasons.

There could yet be a way back for the players, meaning there is hope for Aboubakar to return to the first team with his contract not cancelled, but it is undersood all five will train away from the first team and have been told they will not be considered for selection.
Abubakar has scored 17 goals in 28 games since his return to the club, but the 31-year-old's future is now at risk.
It's not been the most successful of seasons for Besiktas, who are fifth in the Turkish Super Lig, 14 points behind first and second place Fenerbahce and Galatasaray respectively.

They are also bottom of their Europa Conference League group and already knocked out, and lost 3-1 to Fenerbahce at the weekend, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's penalty the only goal.
