Sheffield United defender Chris Basham has been stretchered off after suffering a horrific injury against Fulham.
The 35-year-old, who has been with the Blades since 2014 and been a key part of their rise up the leagues, was named as captain for the game at Craven Cottage.
According to The Sheffield Star, Basham went down in the first half after attempting a cross, with his leg giving way underneath him.

Replays following the incident showed his ankle bending.
Medical staff from both Fulham and Sheffield United were called onto the pitch after Cottagers captain Tim Ream called for immediate attention.
After over 10 minutes of treatment, Basham was then taken off the pitch on a stretcher to applause from all four sections of the ground, and the Blades defender was seen holding his arm up to the crowd before he went down the tunnel.
Sheffield United wrote: "We send our best wishes to Bash, and will communicate updates as and when we have them."

The centre-back, who was utilised in an overlapping role under previous manager Chris Wilder to much success, was named as Sheffield United's player of the season as they finished in ninth place in the 2019/20 Premier League season.
He was named as the club's vice-captain before the current season began, and wore the armband at Craven Cottage due to the absence of fellow defender John Egan.

Speaking about Basham's influence earlier this year, Egan explained (quotes via Yorkshire Live): "Basham is probably one of the best, if not the best, team-mate I have ever had.
"He's an unbelievable player and has been here such a long time he knows the club inside out.
"He helped me a lot when I first came here as well, helped me settle in.
"He's a leader. Every day in training, he is on it 100 per cent. A quality player and a quality person. Everyone looks up to Bash. A fantastic team-mate."
