Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has addressed the incredible transfer saga involving Moises Caicedo.
Following weeks of speculation, it looked like Caicedo's move to Liverpool was all but guaranteed after the Reds agreed a British record transfer fee of £111 million with Brighton for the Ecuador international.
Jurgen Klopp even said in a press conference that a deal was on, explaining on Friday: "I got told I can confirm that the deal with the club is agreed."

"Whatever that means exactly in the end we will see," the German added.
However, recent reports have claimed Caicedo is having "second thoughts" on a move to Anfield, despite having a medical scheduled in Merseyside.
Explaining the situation, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted: "Chelsea are NOT giving up on Moises Caicedo deal despite medical booked.

"And Chelsea have no intention to give up until contracts (already prepared by Liverpool and Brighton) are signed."
German giants Bayern Munich were also credited with an interest, but it seems they have their full focus on signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane instead.
As for Chelsea and Liverpool, every second is critical to where the 21-year-old will eventually end up.
Pochettino has now spoken about the situation for the first time in a press conference on Friday afternoon. You can listen to what he said below.
“I never talk about players that don't belong to us. I am respectful," he said. "We are working really hard to try and add more players to the squad, we want to add quality."

Back in July, Caicedo admitted he would find it hard to turn down an offer from Chelsea should one arise.
"It's a big team, that's true. A very historic team which I can't say no [to joining] because it's a very big, historic, beautiful team," he told TC Deportes. "The city as well is beautiful. It's got everything beautiful."
When asked about Chelsea’s interest, Caicedo replied: "What guy wouldn't want them to be talking about him?
"I know how to handle it. I don't get carried away by emotions. I'm enjoying time with my family for now. There is pressure, but I am calm. I am waiting for whatever God decides. He will know what is best for me."
