Thiago Silva's tweet ahead of Newcastle United's clash against AC Milan speaks volumes after Chelsea missed out on Champions League football.
For the first time since 2009, Silva will not play in Europe's elite competition after Mauricio Pochettino's side finished 12th in the Premier League.
The 38-year-old Brazilian defender, who joined the Blues on a free transfer in 2020, has previously been very vocal about the club's state.

In fact, after they were knocked out of last season's Champions League by then-defending champions Real Madrid, he delivered a brutally honest assessment of the club's situation under Todd Boehly's ownership.
"I think the first step has been made. An incorrect step. but it has been made," he said in his post-match interview.
"We can't be blaming managers if we don't take responsibility. It's a hard period for the club with a lot of indecision: change of ownership, new players arriving."
He added: "We had to increase the size of the changing room because it didn't fit the size of the squad."
Five months after making those comments and Silva has reacted after Champions League football returned to our screens.

Taking to Twitter ahead of Newcastle's much-anticipated Group F clash against AC Milan, he mentioned the Champions League's official account in a post before posting a crying face emoji.
Here's how social media reacted to the post.
One said: "I'm gonna be the one to say it, this is just inviting smoke from rivals. Less of the victim mentality and more quick passes please," while another commented: "There’s no way."
A third added: "We will be back mate. You might be claiming your pension by then but we will be back."
Thoughts on Silva's reaction to the Champions League kicking off on Tuesday night? Can Chelsea secure UCL football in the coming months?
