Kylian Mbappe has sparked a flurry of interest after leaving a cryptic comment on French teammate Christopher Nkunku's latest Instagram post.
Despite Nkunku’s transfer to Chelsea being agreed last November, the 25-year-old’s move from RB Leipzig was not officially formalised until earlier this month.
On July 1, the midfielder became a Blue and, being just two weeks into his six-year contract at Stamford Bridge, the French star has completed his first training session.

Before the weekend, Nkunku shared a photograph of himself with his 2.1 million Instagram followers training at Cobham.
The post, captioned ‘First session with the lads’ has already seen a plethora of famous faces flocking to the comments to lend him support.
Chelsea right-back Reece James commented, “Lezgooo!” while Spanish international Joesp Martinez wrote, “Let’s go hermano,” followed by a flame emoji and a top hat.

However, it’s a sentiment from Paris Saint Germain’s Mbappe that has whipped Chelsea fans up into a frenzy.
Soon after posting, the 24-year-old commented in French: “Going to get my popcorn”.
The cryptic statement has started up the rumour mill again, with many believing that the striker could be making the move to West London soon.
Regarding the comment, one excited fan wrote: “Get your boots on and join Nkunku at the best club (sic) Kylian”.
A second urged the club to: “Get him on a free next summer. £100m wages who cares we just cleared £1.2 m a week.”

Another reacted by stating: “Waiting for us to get back into the UCL to join on a free he’s proper Chels.”
Elsewhere, another Twitter user cheekily posted: “Can we start tweeting lion GIFs now or not yet?”
However, not everyone on social media believes that The Pensioners have a chance in hell with signing the forward.
One football fan wrote: “Mbappe will not come to Chelsea, all of these na rumours (sic) though.”

Another agreed and tweeted: “Lmao Mbappe to Chelsea can never happen.”
A third wrote: “@ChelseaFC and @PSG_inside have come to conclusion that @KMbappe won’t downgrade to a small London finish club,” followed by a string of crying emojis.
While the comment made by the Paris-born baller may have just been a genuine pledge of support, it does play into the idea that Mbappe could still leave Ligue 1 for the Premier League next summer.

The star’s current contract with PSG is due to expire in June 2024 but is already being heavily linked with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
