A new study has revealed the most dominant teams across Europe’s top five leagues.
As the 23/24 season kicks into shape, teams across the continent have been trying to get their campaigns off to a flyer.
In the Premier League, champions Manchester City have won six games out of six.

Whilst the likes of Bayern Munich, Napoli and Paris Saint Germain have also made a promising start.
Now, Football Observatory CIES have ranked the most dominant teams on the basis of the average performance ratio with respect to opponents for four game actions: shots, shots from the box, passes and passes into the opponent’s third.
According to CIES, German Bundesliga champions Bayern have been the most dominant team so far after getting an average ratio of 2.63.

Napoli and PSG were second and third with a score of 2.56 and 2.53 respectively, with City fourth with 2.33.
Chelsea, who have had a dreadful start under new boss Mauricio Pochettino are the second most dominant team in the Premier League with a score of 1.88.
So far, the Blues have only collected five points from a possible 18. However, Pochettino is adamant that he is able to be a success.

He previously said: “I really believe in the project because I think the balance is good, but the problem is that we cannot show it.
“When something like this happens now everyone can talk about how maybe it’s not all right, but I really believe in the project, it’s only about time.”
