Micah Richards loved every second of Kate Abdo's intro for him on CBS before Champions League final

The CBS team are broadcasting live from Wembley tonight.

Kate Abdo's introduction of the Champions League final on CBS Sports didn't disappoint - with Micah Richards making his feelings clear.

The usual CBS crew of Abdo, Richards, Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry are broadcasting live from Wembley as Borussia Dortmund take on Real Madrid.

Ahead of the introductions, former Manchester City defender Richards will have just been hoping to avoid a repeat of April, where Abdo spoke of Henry, Carragher and fellow pundit Alessandro Del Piero's Champions League wins - before dubbing Richards as the 'defending Champions League brackets champion'.

Fortunately for the ex-England international, Abdo touched on his vast Wembley experiences in what fans have described as one of the best intros of the season.

She said: "The man who, on the pitch behind us, won the FA Cup, played in the Olympics and scored for England - it's Big Meeks."

Richards clearly loved that intro, shouting: "Yes! It's about time! Now we're cooking... this is my kingdom, baby."

Abdo then went on to reveal that the CBS crew had enjoyed a 'team dinner' on the eve of the final - before hinting that one of the three pundits had missed it.

She joked: "We had a nice team dinner yesterday. Most of us did, those who bothered to turn up..."

Once Henry and Carragher asked who it was, Abdo replied: "Well, three of us have spoken, so you've got a clue who it is!"

On the pitch, Real Madrid will look to secure their record-extending 15th Champions League crown in London, with Dortmund looking to secure their second after their sole success in 1997.

The German side did beat Real on the way to the 2013 final, but lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich at Wembley through a late Arjen Robben goal in what was the first all-German final in the competition's history.
