Micah Richards offered a rebuke to Nigel Reo-Coker after the former West Ham midfielder made a joke about Jamie Carragher on CBS Sports.
The US broadcaster is running a special 90-minute pre-match show ahead of tonight's Champions League semi-final second leg between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
That meant, for the first half an hour, the London studio of Richards, Carragher, Thierry Henry and Kate Abdo called into the US studio in Stamford, Connecticut.

Reo-Coker, who spent a large part of the second half of his playing career in the United States, was chatting in the US studio before the topic of Carragher came up.
The Liverpool legend was in the 'Yellow Wall' during Borussia Dortmund's semi-final first leg win over PSG at the Signal Iduna Park - and came out of it the worse for wear before a now iconic interview with Jadon Sancho.
Reo-Coker and Richards were discussing a moment from the week prior, which saw Carragher and Richards troll the ex-Aston Villa midfielder after he asked them a question off the script.

Reo-Coker exclaimed: "You couldn't recite a poem! You couldn't even recite two lines!"
Richards hit back: "Do you not know how live TV works? There's cameras everywhere. We can see exactly what you're doing - you're reading again!"
When Carragher jumped in to point out that the cameras could see Reo-Coker's eyes moving down, he shouted: "My eyes can see straight compared to your eyes last week, mate!"
That comment left both studios in stitches, with Richards then interjecting: "Okay, there's a line and I think we're getting towards the line.

"Kate, I think you need to take him away!"
If you've not yet seen Carragher's antics at Signal Iduna Park, they really are worth a look.
But it wasn't completely without consequence, as his co-pundit Peter Schmeichel revealed that Carragher 'upset every person' in the mixed zone.
He said: "First of all, we were supposed to have Luis Enrique [PSG manager, for an interview]. And he came in and said, 'Hello', and then left because Jamie was wearing a Dortmund scarf.

"Because we took Jadon Sancho in, the press officer from Dortmund got a bit cross with us because that was not on the list. We've been very naughty."
