Kate Abdo halted CBS Sports' coverage of the opening night of Champions League action to announce a major change.
Abdo has returned to CBS for the 2024/25 season, with pundits Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards all signing new contracts to stay with the broadcaster.
The show, as always, began with introductions - and it started with Henry's successful summer as head coach of the France Olympic team.

Henry, who took the role as a result of being the existing France U21 manager, guided his team to the silver medal in the men's football competition before resigning from the job for personal reasons.
Attention then turned to Abdo, who got married to boxing trainer Malik Scott earlier this month in a private ceremony.
And she decided to briefly stop the coverage, before calling on the graphics team to make a significant change.

Instead of being referred to as her maiden name, Abdo announced that she would take her new husband's surname and be called Kate Scott from now on.
The reveal clearly caught the rest of the panel off guard, as Henry, Carragher and Richards all gasped before the trio then congratulated her on the name change.
You can see the clip below.
Announcing her marriage to Scott earlier this month, she wrote on Instagram: "Thank you God for this gift.

"Thank you Malik Scott for changing my life. For bringing love, happiness, fulfillment, peace and joy, all in abundance. It is my greatest blessing to be your wife.
"I want to love, sing, dance and laugh with you forever. A lifelong journey with you is everything I pray for.
"It's you and our family always."
