Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards delivered the funniest segment on TV on CBS Sports after the latest round of Champions League fixtures were concluded.

During their coverage for the Tuesday night action, Richards was destroyed by Carragher for his new haircut - while he also suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction celebrating Barcelona's last-gasp winner against Benfica.

The panel, kept in check by host Kate Scott, were on fine form once again throughout the latest 'Golazo' broadcast and Richards and Carragher produced utter gold following the results.

Manchester City threw away a two-goal lead to lose 4-2 against PSG and find themselves on the brink of Champions League elimination, while there were wins for Arsenal, Real Madrid, Celtic and AC Milan.

Carragher and Richards ran through the results for a new edition of 'table time' - which came with a disco ball for its 'Saturday night Fever' theme.

With the Bee Gees hit 'Stayin' Alive' playing through the speakers, the former England pair busted some serious moves while going through the latests happenings and had Thierry Henry, Scott and the CBS viewers in absolute hysterics.

Carragher had puns about John Travolta and Mo Salah, while Richards pranced around the studio with more energy than he did at right-back in his playing career.

In this season's shows, the panel have been unable to resist making jokes and innuendos about French side Brest, who are 13th in the Champions League table after four wins from seven games.

They decided to show love to Richards by giving him his own shirt, which had 'Brest Lover 2' on the back. Henry was absolutely stunned and couldn't help but walk off when the former Aston Villa captain made a joke about what happens when fellow French side Nice play Brest.

CBS' show is a different beast to what pundits are like on Sky Sports and Richards believes it is simply down to being given more freedom to be themselves and show personality while on air.

Speaking in an interview with The Athletic, Richards said: "Trust is the key for me. I think we’re comfortable in our own skin. Take Thierry Henry. He’s a legend of the game and he loves football. You got Carragher, the No. 1 pundit in England. But he has to sort of be a different Jamie on our show to make the show work.

"We all know our roles within the show to make it the best it can possibly be. We can’t have egos within the show. … I mean, I won the Premier League and Kate destroys me every single week in the show. But I know it’s for the good of the show, and as long as my credibility does not get lost, it’s totally fine. We have producers who allow us to do things that other companies probably wouldn’t allow. We trust and respect each other."
