Jamie Carragher had a brutal response to seeing Micah Richards' new haircut for the first time on CBS Sports' Champions League coverage.
The popular quartet of Carragher, Richards, Thierry Henry and Kate Scott have returned for the first time since before Christmas as the Champions League group stage resumes.
And while Carragher and Richards have worked together on Sky Sports since the sixth round of fixtures, the Liverpool legend made a brutal remark about his counterpart's look when they went on-air for CBS.

When Scott brought up Richards' new, shorter haircut, the former Manchester City defender replied: "Oh, wow. I look fantastic, don't I?"
Carragher then chimed in: "It doesn't suit you. I'm saying it as a friend."
Richards burst into laughter before hitting back: "Could you not have said that off-air? Are you not feeling it? It's new year, new me."
After CBS put up a side-by-side graphic comparing Richards' previous hairstyle, the Liverpool legend exclaimed: "Honestly, you look awful! Look at it! You looked so cool on the other one. Why did you do that?"
Richards then explained: "I've got contact lenses in. Obviously I had the height, it was all height talk. Now when I wear my glasses, my face is too small!"

"I'm happy. I'm more than happy. I've not put a vote out there [to see the reaction] but I'll do my best face for the camera."
The CBS Sports Twitter account then put out a poll for followers to vote on whether Richards' old haircut or new haircut was better.
The CBS quartet are in position to watch a bumper night of Champions League action, including Liverpool's home clash against Lille at Anfield.

The Reds, who are in first place in the table, went into the night knowing that a point would secure them qualification for the knockout stages of the new competition.
Speaking ahead of the game, manager Arne Slot said he wasn't taking too much notice of Liverpool's position in the table: "With this new setup, you think that number one is the best position to end up with but because it's such a strange league table.
"For example, if I look at PSG every week I think they have the hardest team to face so they are quite low on the table, which does not reflect their quality.
"So maybe if you end up number one, you can face them. That's a disadvantage so I'm not looking at a league table in a way, 'if we are number one we probably have the most easy team to face', because that is impossible to say because of this weird - I don't mean this in a negative way - format."
