Jack Wilshere has been urged to make an audacious move for one of his former Arsenal teammates after taking over at League One side Luton Town.
The 33-year-old, who moved into coaching following his retirement as a player in 2022, enjoyed a spell as Arsenal's under-18 manager before becoming a first-team coach at Championship side Norwich City.
He was named interim head coach for the Canaries' final two league games following Johannes Hoff Thorup's exit.

Then, after leaving Carrow Road at the end of the 2024-25 campaign. Wilshere was approached by Luton to succeed Matt Bloomfield, who was relieved of his duties after less than a year in charge.
The former England international agreed to take charge in October and has since recorded wins over Northampton Town and Forest Green.

As he settles into life at Luton, Wilshere has been given some advice by former Tottenham and Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood.

Sherwood believes the former midfielder should be actively trying to convince Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to join the ranks at Kenilworth Road after he was spotted training with Arsenal on Monday.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently a free agent after he mutually terminated his contract with Turkish side Besiktas.
"It depends what level he wants to play at, but if I'm Jack Wilshere – and I know it's League One – I am absolutely ringing his phone off the hook for him to come and play for his old mate, and help out that group at Luton," Sherwood told Sky Sports.
He added: "But he might have his sights a lot higher – and he probably has."

Oxlade-Chamberlain has turned down a number of lucrative offers from abroad as his preference is to stay in England. Whether the former Liverpool midfielder would consider dropping down to League One is another matter.
The 32-year-old, who hasn't played a competitive match since May, is expected to predominantly train with Arsenal's younger age groups until he finds a new club, according to ESPN.
Two clubs in England show interest in Oxlade-Chamberlain
Premier League new boys Leeds United have shown an interest in bringing the experienced midfielder to Elland Road, according to Football Insider, while big spenders Birmingham City are also believed to be keen.

“A number of clubs have been having a look at him," said transfer expert Pete O’Rourke.“He’s got a great CV, played for Arsenal and Liverpool, he’s a Champions League and Premier League winner from his time at Liverpool."
He added: "There’s interest from clubs in the Premier League, Championship and across Europe as well, with Leeds and Birmingham among them. So I’m sure he’d be ready to return to England after a couple of years away, and I expect there will be some movement on his future soon.”
It must be noted that clubs are able to sign free agents outside of the transfer window, but they can only play if the team has a spare registration space in their squad.
