Amazon Prime presenter Gabby Logan was forced to apologise for an incident that happened during the coverage of Manchester City’s 3-3 draw against Feyenoord on Tuesday evening.
Logan, 51, is a familiar face to British football fans, having previously hosted BBC’s Match of the Day on occasions, as well as Final Score between 2009 and 2013.
The presenter was part of Prime’s live broadcast team for the match at the Etihad on Tuesday evening, in which City surrendered a three-goal lead, conceding three times in the space of just 15 minutes.

City boss Pep Guardiola appeared to have visible scratches on his head and nose after the match.
"Yeah, my finger here,” Guardiola said when explaining the reason for the scratches during his post-match press conference.
“My nail. I want to harm myself.”

The draw was the latest disappointment in a string of poor results for the Premier League champions - with Guardiola experiencing five consecutive defeats for the first time in his managerial career before the Champions League fixture on Tuesday.
As expected, the punditry team analysed the shock result, with Alan Shearer giving his expert opinion on the game.
But it was former Arsenal Women’s defender Josephine Henning who made a blunder.

The former German international swore during her analysis and instantly looked towards Logan, who swiftly apologised.
“I'm talking about if you want to accept that the situation is s***,” Henning explained.
“Gabby is looking at me like ‘Oh my god, she said this!’
“It is the worst. In the second half, they [Man City] looked afraid. I could see the fear. You have to accept it, but then you have to face it brutally.”

However, Logan was quick to offer her apologies on behalf of her colleague.
“I'm just looking at the time it's 10:20 pm,” Logan said.
“I do apologise.”
Generally, in the UK, sensitive topics and expletive language are not ‘allowed’ until after the 9 pm ‘watershed’.

Although Prime is not a traditional TV channel, streaming services are still governed by the regulatory body Ofcom.
According to Ofcom, the word ‘s**t’ is considered a ‘moderately’ offensive word, which may have been the reason an apology was issued.
