The potential salaries for players taking part in the upcoming Baller League have been revealed.

On Monday, it was confirmed that the Baller League, a six-a-side tournament played in Germany, will be landing in the United Kingdom and the United States of America next year.

In the UK, YouTube sensation KSI will be the President while IShowSpeed will be the head of the US league.

The Baller League is set to include some superstar managers, including the likes of Gary Lineker, Micah Richards, Alan Shearer, Robert Pires and Jens Lehmann in the UK.

Former Barcelona and Brazil forward Ronaldinho is set to manage a team in the States.

There is a list of rules that the players will have to follow, including matches being played on a 29 x 50-metre pitch and new rules which will differ each half and will be introduced for the final three minutes of each, including a three-vs-three format, goals scored from the back two-thirds of the pitch (behind the offside line) counting as double and 1v1s starting from behind the halfway line with no hands allowed.

How much will players earn?

While the exact figures have not been revealed, a report from The Athletic claimed that some players in Germany can earn up to €800 per matchday.

The report stated: "Baller League met resistance in Germany, with some players — who can earn up to €800 (Ā£668; $840) per matchday — turning out for the new concept while still on the books of amateur clubs."

Baller League CEO Felix Starck said: "Baller League is a brand new way to consume football.

"We’re redefining how the game is played by bringing an exhilarating and authentic approach to football, and one that will appeal to current fans along with future generations.

ā€œBaller League is all about forward-thinking, aggressive, hyper-exciting football. We’re about creating a version of the game that’s impossible to ignore - thrilling, bold and packed with excitement."
