Arsenal could be forced to enter the transfer market to replace Bukayo Saka following his crushing injury blow and here's five potential replacements Mikel Arteta could look to bring in ahead of the window reopening.
Arsenal picked up a big 5-1 win over Crystal Palace last Saturday.
But the away victory came at a price as Saka limped off in the first-half, with Mikel Arteta revealing that the star winger will be out for 'many weeks'.
"It’s not looking good. He’s going to be out for MANY weeks," he said in his pre-match press conference ahead of his side's Premier League clash against Ipswich Town.

"It’s a huge blow, but it’s going to be a big exercise for us to overcome another challenge.
"My intention right now is to get the best of what we have."
Arteta also said that he is 'putting some ideas together' as to who can replace Saka, with Gabriel Jesus, Ethan Nwaneri, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard all having played on the right-hand side.
But should the Gunners boss delve into the transfer market, then we've taken a look at five potential signings they could try to complete next month.
Five replacements Arsenal could sign in January to replace Bukayo Saka:
Marcus Rashford
Rashford's future has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent weeks, with a move away from Old Trafford destined.

The 27-year-old predominantly plays on the left wing, but he has occasionally been deployed on the right.
A move to North London could very well be the perfect 'new challenge' Rashford is looking for in a bid to resurrect his career.
Bryan Mbeumo
Mbeumo has been a consistent performer in the Premier League and is enjoying the most prolific campaign of his career (in the Premier League), having already scored 10 league goals.

The 25-year-old has attracted growing interest from Arsenal and Liverpool over the years.
He plays on the same side as Saka and would also add versatility as he's able to operate anywhere across the front-line.
Leroy Sane
Sane returning to England has been mooted ever since he left Manchester City in 2020.

He could be available for a cut-price deal in January considering his contract runs out in June.
The German winger has already shown he can perform in England's top flight, so you'd think he wouldn't need much time to embed in the league.
Antoine Semenyo
Semenyo has starred for Bournemouth since arriving from Bristol City. He has enhanced his reputation this season, having scored five league goals so far.

Still only 24, the Ghana international would not only serve as an ideal short-term replacement for Saka but also a player who could develop further and become a bigger talent in the years to come.
Nico Williams
Williams was strongly linked with a switch to the Emirates last summer after impressing at Euro 2024.
Arsenal were unable to secure his services but a fresh pursuit for the winger could be on the cards following Saka's injury.
Given his ability, Williams, who has already proven his worth at the highest stage, could slot in straightaway and help Arsenal on every front this season.
