Arsenal have reportedly made contact over a club-record deal deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
The Gunners are thought to be in the market for a new no.9 this January, with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah struggling for goals in the Premier League.
Osimhen has been one of the names linked with a move to the Emirates, with Chelsea also thought to be interested in the Nigerian.

It was even suggested that Arsenal could use Jesus as part of a player-plus-cash deal to help lure Osimhen to north London.
However, Italian outlet CalcioNapoli24 have claimed that he is close to signing a new contract with the Serie A side, just months after it looked like he was destined to leave.
That hasn't stopped Arsenal chancing their arm though, with the club having allegedly made contact with Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda.

If he did pen a new contract in Naples, his release clause would rise to €130 million, meaning Mikel Arteta may have to break the club's transfer record in order to sign him.
Although Arsenal fans may be slightly concerned by his previous comments, hinting that he would prefer a move to Chelsea.
In an appearance on 'The Obi One podcast' with compatriot and former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, Osimhen revealed he has the shirts of both Chelsea and United.
"I don’t have a favourite Premier League team but I’ve two jerseys: Chelsea and Man United," Osimhen said.

"Many friends of mine are Chelsea fans, few are Man Utd fans.
“Premier League is the most appreciated league by every African player — it’s a huge league."
