Arsenal fans think Mikel Arteta has made a decision on Thomas Partey’s future.
The Gunners are set to offload several of their stars this summer, with Partey believed to be among those set to depart.
The Ghana international struggled with injuries for much of last term but did return to start Arsenal’s last three Premier League games, forming a strong partnership with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in midfield.

However, Partey may be sold, with the Gunners having been reported by several publications to have lined up several central midfielders as alternatives.
The Saudi Pro League have long been touted as a potential option for Partey, with the player having received interest from the burgeoning division last year.
While the Gunners allegedly rebuffed an approach last summer, with just a year remaining on Partey’s current deal, this window represents the club’s last real chance to make good money on the player.

With Arsenal having returned for pre-season however, a picture from training of Partey and Arteta laughing while embracing one another has had a contingent of fans on social media speculating whether the Spaniard will be willing to sell the midfielder.
Writing on X, the social media platform formally known as Twitter, one person wrote: “This is the Partey some people said Arteta is selling.”
Another added: “Doesn’t look like he’s gonna sell this brother, sigh.”

A third said: “He’s not going anywhere.”
A fourth added: “He ain't selling him is he.”
A fifth simply said: “Great. He’s staying.”
Despite all the outside noise, Partey has insisted that he is keen to stay at Arsenal, claiming back in April: "My head is always here. This is where I choose to play, I'm really happy every time I'm on the field.

“I know a lot of speculations have been going on, but for me, I'm really happy to be here and to continue playing for this club."
Later that month, Arteta said: "He’d better have his head here because we are playing for big things. That’s what we expect. We need him. He’s a top player and important for us, you could see the other day on the pitch the impact that he can have for us."
