Arsenal reportedly want to sign a former Tottenham player who left the club for free back in 2019.
The Gunners are putting together their list of targets this summer as they look to finally win the Premier League for the first time since the 2003/04 campaign.
Mikel Arteta's side have come agonisingly close in the title race over the past couple of seasons but have ultimately lost out to serial winners Manchester City.

This summer they will look to improve further in order to get over the line and are interested in bringing a former Spurs star back to north London.
Five years ago, Marcus Edwards was allowed to leave Spurs for free and subsequently moved to Portuguese side Vitoria de Guimaraes.
Now 25, he plays for Sporting CP but is set to leave this summer having fallen out of manager Ruben Amorim's plans.

As per CaughtOffside, reports in Portugal have revealed that he is attracting interest from his former club's rivals Arsenal.
If there's one position where Arsenal can improve for next season then it's the forward area.
The Gunners' defensive record was easily the best with them conceding just 29 goals throughout the whole Premier League season.
However, City's superiority in attack is what ultimately sealed their fourth Premier League title in a row.

Arsenal still have an incredible amount of quality at the top end of the pitch, but at the very top level it's about fine margins and perhaps signing Edwards could offer them something different.
Arteta's side made an average of 12.5 key passes per game last season, falling below City's average of 14.4.
The 25-year-old could improve that creativity given he operates as an attacking midfielder.

Whilst he wasn't deemed good enough for Spurs, Arteta has proved that he is capable of getting the best out of players even when others can't.
