Mikel Arteta was spotted berating one of his players ahead of Arsenal’s pre-season clash against Nurnberg.
The Gunners take on the 2. Bundesliga side in their first pre-season encounter, having enjoyed a busy off-season.
And there has been much to smile about for Arsenal fans since the club last kicked a ball.

The north Londoners have already secured the signing of Kai Havertz for £65million, and appear close to finalising a club-record £105million move for Declan Rice and the £38million acquisition of Jurrien Timber.
While fans await the announcement of both big-money deals, the club have provided footage of Arsenal’s pre-season, with the players being put through their paces with a series of drills.
Arteta berating Vieira
Behind-the-scenes footage, via the Mirror, has provided Arsenal fans with an insight into the club’s pre-season training. However, it also shows Vieira unceremoniously receiving a telling-off from Arteta.

In the clip the midfielder plays a poor pass into the feet of a team-mate who was already being marked, putting him under further pressure. The pass prompts a cry of “Fabio” from his exasperated manager.
In another section of the video, Vieira is berated for passively watching the game rather than trying to create an option for his teammate.
Vieira endured a difficult first season in English football, having been bought for some £35million last summer. The 23-year-old arrived at the Emirates injured and missed pre-season.

This time around, he is giving himself the best possible chance of succeeding, having withdrawn from the Under-21s European Championship earlier this summer to ensure he is fit and available for pre-season.
Speaking to O Jogo in March, Vieira admitted that he had found it difficult to adapt to life in England upon arriving, but was quick to assure that he is "enjoying it" now.
The midfielder said: "I got here injured. It’s always different for a new player to get here, to a new country, a different culture, everything is different. It was difficult, but after a few months I’m ready, I’m enjoying it, I’ve developed a lot and I’m here to help the team.
"When you get injured, you’re always one step behind the others. I think it’s only a matter of time, to be there, to help the team, to show my qualities."
