A YouTuber put Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland against one another in the ultimate FIFA 23 speed test.
Mbappe is the fastest player on this year's game having been given a massive 97 pace by EA Sports. Second on the list is Wolves speed demon Adama Traore, with the likes of Vinicius Jr, Dan James and Inaki Williams in the top ten.
But do the stats always tell the story when it comes to FIFA? There are instances in the game where somehow a defender with 63 pace beats your 94 pace striker.
And so FV Gaming wanted to get a conclusive result on who is the fastest, pitting the top 32 players against each other in a knockout-style competition.

The first phase was a four man box-to-box sprint with the ball and there were victories for the likes of Traore, Alphonso Davies, Haaland, Achraf Hakimi, Mbappe, James and Vinicius Jr in their respective heats.
Haaland, with those big long legs, destroyed his opponents in his semi-final and so too did Mbappe.

The two superstars have been tipped to compete for the Ballon d'Or in the future but before that their virtual versions were having a sprint off.
It was a close contest but Mbappe proved that EA's ratings are accurate by just pipping Haaland in the final.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward has a "controlled" sprinting style on the game, whereas Haaland is deemed to be "lengthy".
The other style is "explosive", which fits the criteria for the likes of Traore, Vinicius and James.

One of the game's fastest players is Freiburg star Kevin Schade, who was given the biggest pace upgrade this year.
In FIFA 22, the winger had just 69 pace but now, in addition to being a 70-rated silver card, he has seen a +25 increase to reach a whopping 94 pace.
