Rio Ferdinand and Virgil van Dijk have named their FIVE greatest centre-backs of the Premier League era, with both agreeing on their No.1 pick.
Van Dijk appeared on the latest episode of BT Sport's Between The Lines and spoke of his incredible journey to the top.
The Liverpool star also revealed his five greatest centre-backs of the Premier League era, as did the Manchester United legend.

They had Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Ricardo Carvalho, Ferdinand, Sami Hyypia, Vincent Kompany, Jaap Stam, John Terry, Van Dijk and Nemanja Vidic to choose from to form their five greatest.
Ferdinand went first and brilliantly picked himself as the greatest centre-back ahead of his former teammate Nemanja Vidic.
He then selected Van Dijk, highlighting his attributes and impact at Liverpool - calling him the 'full package'.

Ferdinand named another ex-Man United defender in his top five, picking Jaap Stam.
Chelsea legend John Terry rounded off his list.
As for Van Dijk's five greatest centre-backs of the Premier League era, he also selected Ferdinand as the best - hailing his 'presence' at Man United.

The Dutchman opted for Vincent Kompany at No.2 before naming fellow countryman Stam.
Van Dijk completed his list with Terry and Hyypia.
