Fan footage has emerged from Old Trafford that shows a devastated Casemiro in tears after he picked up his second red card of the season.
The Brazilian midfielder was dismissed in the 34th minute of Sunday's clash against Southampton, moments after a studs-up tackle connected with Argentine midfielder Carlos Alcaraz.
Referee Anthony Taylor, who was criticised for several on-field decisions throughout the Premier League fixture, initially brandished a yellow card for the tackle.

But after being advised by his fellow officials to check the pitchside monitor, he had no hesitation in overturning the decision.
As you can see in the footage below, a distraught Casemiro was consoled by several teammates after being sent off, including Antony, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Lisandro Martinez.
In fact, it looks like the Brazilian, who will now serve a four-match suspension, was in tears as he made his way down the Old Trafford tunnel.

United fans voiced their support for the influential midfielder as news soon filtered through that he will miss crucial Premier League games against Newcastle, Brentford, Everton and Nottingham Forest.
Twitter user @planetfaz posted the footage alongside the caption: "Casemiro EMOTIONAL after he was shown the red card. The players & us the fans consolidated and clapped him on as he left the pitch."
Despite being sent for an early bath in their win over Crystal Palace last month, the former Real Madrid man had never received a straight red in his club career before joining Manchester United in the summer.
