According to a report, Liverpool pulled out of a £300million deal to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund earlier this year.
The prolific goalscorer already has 26 goal contributions in 17 appearances this season and he's missed two matches through injury.
Last month, the Daily Mail reported that Haaland is earning almost £900,000 per week at Man City when you factor in his base salary and bonuses.

The Premier League champions paid a transfer fee of £51million to Dortmund after triggering his release clause, while also paying signing-on and agent fees to capture the Norwegian.
Haaland's astonishing contract broken down
Football Insider reported that Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group were interested in signing Haaland back in the spring, but baulked at the transfer after being told it could cost them as much as £300million.

That same report worked out the total cost of Haaland's massive five-year contract.
He earns a base salary of £375,000 per week, his "easily-achievable" bonuses take that to £850,000 a week which is worth £44.2million per year and then when you factor in the length of the contract, which is five years, that totals a whopping £272million.
Is the Norwegian striker worth it?
The City forward was recently described as "frightening" by England's former No.1 Paul Robinson and the scariest thought of all? He is about to be gifted 43 days of rest as Norway failed to qualify for the World Cup.

A fresh, well-rested and raring to go Haaland could indeed be incredibly scary for the rest of the league.
When he comes back from the break he could well go on to become the top scorer in a season in English top-flight history.
Dixie Dean currently holds the record with 60 goals in 39 First Division games for Everton way back in 1927-28. Haaland would need to score two goals per game for the rest of the season to manage that.
