Ederson Moraes may be one of the best shot-stoppers in world football right now, but new signings Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez made Manchester City's number one look distinctly average in a recent training session.
It has been a busy year for the Premier League champions in regards to their transfer business.
Back in January, they splashed a very reasonable £14.1 million on highly-rated forward Alvarez, who remained at boyhood club River Plate for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign before joining up with his new teammates on their tour of America.
Pep Guardiola's side have also added profilic goalscorer Haaland to their ranks. City completed a £51.2 million deal to sign the Norwegian forward from Borussia Dortmund this summer as they attempt to win their fifth league title in six years.

It's fair to say they have bolstered their attacking options in recent months and boy, do their goalkeepers know about it.
In footage posted by the club's official Twitter account, the likes of Haaland and Alvarez showed no mercy in front of goal, slotting past a helpless Ederson on numerous occasions.
At one stage, the Brazil international looked a tad stressed as he watched the ball nestle into the back of the net, time and time again.

One fan said: "This is a four minute video of Ederson getting dunked on," while another wrote: "Camera man trying to set up Ederson for dragging or Ederson didn't actually make a save?"
Another fan noticed the fact that City players sang Erling Haaland's song after he scored.

Last month, the striker was filmed dancing to 'Der Haaland' by DJ 11 in the Norway dressing room following their 2-1 win against Sweden – and he was loving every second.
The 21-year-old, who scored a quite remarkable 86 goals in 98 games during his time at Borussia Dortmund, netted a brace against Janne Andersson's side in a fiesty Nations League clash.
After converting from the penalty spot, the soon-to-be Manchester City forward used his pace and power to make it 2-0 with 69 minutes played.
It was a big win for Norway and after the full-time whistle, Haaland celebrated by dancing to the catchy song that continues to go viral on TikTok, amongst other social media platforms.

Haaland will likely start for Pep Guardiola's side in their Premier League opener against West Ham on August 7. Do you think he will score more than 20 goals this season?
