A number of United players will be hoping for a fresh start and Bailly is keen.
On one of United's social media posts announcing their new boss, a fan asked for Bailly to start alongside Raphael Varane next season. It caught the former's eye.
Bailly simply replied: "Please," with a laughing emoji and praying emoji. That's one way to take matters into your own hands.

The Ivory Coast international has grown frustrated with his lack of game time at Old Trafford this season.
He signed a new contract last April and was promised a regular place in the squad.
Since then Bailly has made seven appearances and only four of those are in the Premier League, with zero in 2022 so far.
Reports last year claimed the 28-year-old 'openly challenged' previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after 4-2 defeat to Leicester City.

Harry Maguire started the game despite coming back from a calf injury and he looked rusty having featured in one training session prior.
Bailly wanted to know why a defender who was 'half fit' made the team before him given his availability.
Interim manager Ralf Rangnick doesn't seem to fancy the former Villarreal man either with Phil Jones preferred on two occasions this campaign.

United are currently sixth in the Premier League and likely to miss out on the top four and Champions League football.
Ten Hag knows what is expected and is keen to deliver success.
He told United's official website: "It is a great honour to be appointed manager of Manchester United and I am hugely excited by the challenge ahead.

"I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans, and I am absolutely determined to develop a team capable of delivering the success they deserve.
"It will be difficult to leave Ajax after these incredible years, and I can assure our fans of my complete commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I move to Manchester United."
