A former England holds the record for the most correct answers in the 'cash builder' round on ITV quiz show The Chase.
The popular game show, which started in 2009 and has had over 2,000 episodes, began a celebrity spin-off version in 2011.
A total of 63 teams have won prize money in the final of the celebrity version, and it has attracted huge names from across the world of TV, entertainment, sport and beyond.

If you're unfamiliar, each show kicks off with four contestants, who each must face a 'cash builder' round before progressing to the head-to-head round on the main table.
There, the contestant starts two, three or four steps ahead of the Chaser on a virtual board - with differing amounts of prize money on offer - and must reach the end of the board before the Chaser catches them.
In the 'cash builder' round, host Bradley Walsh asks the contestant questions in 60 seconds, with each correct answer worth £1,000 that then equals their starting amount on the main table.

The highest amount ever won in the celebrity version of the game, across 151 shows, is £11,000 - won by former
England international and Liverpool goalkeeper David James.
Among the questions he was asked was to name what the casing of a traditional Jamaican patty was made from (pastry), the state of the farm in which Dorothy lives in the Wizard of Oz (Kansas), and the name shared by England footballers Moore and Charlton (Bobby).
He only passed on one question, and both he and Walsh looked stunned when he delivered the final total

The Chaser, Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis, remarked: "And they made me a Chaser!"
James then won his share of £150,000 in the final alongside Dion Dublin, Lianne Sanderson and EastEnders star Shaun Williamson - who took the big offer in the head-to-head.
They racked up an incredible 24 correct answers in the final, and had a push-back against 'The Menace'.

Barring Williamson - who has probably played the part on one of his many 'A League of Their Own' appearances - all three of the aforementioned names are England internationals.
James also holds the record for the most correct cash builders answers by a single celebrity, having returned to the show for a second appearance and taken his total to 21.
The Chase has been a somewhat profitable show for sportspeople and their charities in general, with fellow England star Eniola Aluko winning her share of £150,000 for charity - the second-highest amount won from a single celebrity game - alongside TV presenter Kay Burley and comedian Richard Herring in 2020.

And snooker legend Steve Davis took home £38,000 for his charity in 2017, teaming up with news anchor Krishnan Guru-Murthy, actress Lucy Porter and journalist Jay Rayner.
