Ademola Lookman's international allegiance switch from England to Nigeria has been officially confirmed by FIFA.

Lookman's chances of breaking into the Three Lions fold under Gareth Southgate are very low and he qualifies for Nigeria thanks to his parents.
It's been reported by the Associated Press that FIFA have accepted Lookman's request and he could make his Super Eagles debut in next month's World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.
The 24-year-old is back in the Premier League on loan from RB Leipzig and has impressed in a difficult season for the Foxes.

Lookman has made 22 appearances in all competitions and scored five goals, while registering thee assists.
He spent last season on loan at Fulham but couldn't prevent them from relegation to the Championship.
Lookman burst onto the scene with Charlton Athletic before Everton swooped in when he was just 19-years-old.
He scored on his Toffees debut, in a 4-0 win over Manchester City.

Despite that, he failed to nail down a regular starting spot and chose to join Leipzig in 2019.
Game time was still hard to come by and it's seen him return to England in consecutive seasons.
Pressure is building on Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers despite last season's FA Cup triumph.

Elimination from the Europa League late last year and a shock loss to Nottingham Forest in this year's FA Cup means Rodgers is in his toughest spell as boss.
Leicester sit 12th in the Premier League and Rodgers admits it's time for a 'healthy shake-up' of his squad.
He explained ahead of Thursday's clash with Liverpool: "Now my job is to keep provoking and keep developing the club and the squad.
"If players aren't improving and developing, then of course you need that healthy shake-up. We need to reinvigorate the squad.

"Nine of the 11 players who started at Forest were here when I joined. For the squad to evolve and become better you need to add better players. The club have been super-supportive since I've been here.
"Money will always talk and Leicester have always worked that side of the market (player sales) very well. Players will improve and then want to move on, and when that happens the club will maximise what they can get."
