England fans are blaming Rugby legend Johnny Wilkinson for Harry Kane's penalty miss against France, as an old comedy sketch has re-surfaced.
Sadly the video has only hit social media due to Kane's penalty that uncharacteristically was skied high over the crossbar, to the despair of England fans around the country.
Kane's record from the spot is a very solid 84% for club and country, that has spanned across a 13-year professional career, but it wasn't meant to be last night, as he lost a battle of wits against his club teammate Hugo Lloris.
The video is a comedy sketch that was filmed for Sport Relief back in 2018, as England Rugby legend Wilkinson was on hand to teach Kane how to win a World Cup.

Also in the video is comedian John Bishop, the pair help Kane perfect his penalty taking technique ahead of what was the Russia World Cup.
In the skit, Kane fires one into the bottom corner, before Wilkinson tells him "you've got it all wrong".
Wilkinson's joke is that he teaches Kane to fire the ball high and straight over the goal, explaining that's how he did it in 2003, when he triumphed at the Rugby World Cup.
"That's how you do it," says Wilkinson, clearly delighted with his effort, but Kane is baffled, saying "You just put it over by a mile."

“Yes, but that’s how I won a World Cup with England,” Wilkinson smiles.
Kane then reciprocates by doing his technique which is met by praise from the former Toulon star.
Kane's equaliser for England last night saw him draw level with England legend Wayne Rooney on 53 international goals, but he missed his chance to pip the former Manchester United forward with his late missed spot-kick.

Following the heart-breaking loss, he spoke to ITV Sport post-match revealing his thoughts on the penalty: "I can’t fault my preparation or anything like that. It was just the execution on the night. The first one was great and the second one, I just didn’t quite hit it how I wanted to.
“That’s just something I will take on the chin. It will hurt for sure, the whole game will hurt, we had full belief in what we wanted to achieve."
