Spanish television channel El Chiringuito went into meltdown on Saturday after hearing Kylian Mbappe had turned down Real Madrid to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Many believed the 23-year-old would be moving to Madrid this summer with his PSG contract winding down.

Instead, a mammoth offer from the Ligue 1 outfit came in at the eleventh hour and Mbappe has signed a new three-year deal.
It's seen every single person involved in Spanish football lose their mind and of course El Chiringuito upped the ante even further.
Popular host and internet meme Josep Pedrerol was first to react and he cut an emotional speech to camera.

He's been adamant about Mbappe moving to the Santiago Bernabeu for years and even had his own 'tic tac' clock dedicated to the move.
"When Mbappe made that commitment, I informed you of it," he declared.
"I assured you that he'd play for... Real Madrid. I'm a fool. I'm stupid. Because I believe people's words. I'll learn from that."
A few looks down to the ground really emphasise just how crushed Pedrerol is by the news.

Jose Felix Diaz, on the other hand, was in a much more aggressive mood.
Diaz believes Mbappe hasn't kept his word after 'saying yes' to Los Blancos' terms and then claimed he'll 'never be a great man'.
"Just 10 days ago you were giving your word [to Real Madrid]," Diaz vented. "They sent you a shirt and you received it for your birthday.

"You were denying report that were proven to be true. Mbappe, you're not a sportsman. You don't keep your word. You're not a man. It's that clear. I can't consider you as one.
"Why? Because you've misled millions of people, not only Florentino Perez. Just two weeks ago, or even 10 days ago, you still said 'yes'.
"Then, you were so cowardly that you didn't even phone, you just sent a message. You just showed what you are. You're a man who doesn't keep his word.

"You'll be a great player, but never a great man."
La Liga intend to report PSG to UEFA and they believe what they've spent to secure Mbappe's signature 'threatens the economic sustainability of European football.'
Mbappe scored a hat-trick on Saturday, hours after his renewal was announced, in a 5-0 win over Metz.
