Manchester City have been tipped to make an offer for for Declan Rice this summer, following two unsuccessful bids from Arsenal.
It is no secret that Mikel Arteta is desperate to bring Rice to the Emirates, having made the 24-year-old midfielder his priority transfer target.
The Gunners have had two bids, with the latest worth £90m, rejected for Rice but are expected to return with an improved offer.

However, according to multiple reports, he is also on the radar of Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola ready to scupper his former colleague's plans.
Should West Ham agree a deal with City for Rice, here are four things that are likely to happen.
Man City to create history and win fourth successive Premier League title

Guardiola's winning machine are fresh off completing the treble, lifting the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup last season.
And the Spaniard has no plans to take his foot off the gas, with City's sights set on a fourth successive league trophy which would see them overtake Manchester United's record of three domestic titles in a row.
Even without Rice in the side, City are firm favourites to go on and win the title. But his addition, and Arsenal's failure to sign him, would provide Guardiola with even more firepower to fend off their opposition.
Arsenal fans will question club's transfer strategy

Arsenal's transfer strategy, headed by sporting director Edu Gaspar, has often come under scrutiny.
However, their terrific form last season saw a shift in attitudes, with supporters praising the club's summer and winter business.
Nevertheless, Gunners fans have cause for concern following the Mykhailo Mudryk transfer saga.
The north London side had been in pole position to sign the Ukranian winger in January, only to see Chelsea steal him from their grasp at the last minute.

Should they also lose out on Rice, plenty of the fanbase will be left questioning the club's ability to close out deals.
Kalvin Phillips to leave Man City
Phillips joined City from Leeds United last summer in a deal worth a reported £45 million.
However, the England international has struggled to win the trust of his manager, failing to register a single Premier League appearance all season.

The prospective arrival of Rice would all but seal Phillips' fate, with the path to the first team seemingly blocked off by Rodri and Rice for the foreseeable future.
Arsenal to go all in for Moises Caicedo
Arteta expressed a keen interest in signing Caicedo in January, but saw two bids worth up to £70 million rejected by Brighton.
They have since turned their attention to Rice but should City beat them to it, Arsenal may look to reignite their pursuit of Caicedo after allegedly withdrawing from the race earlier this month.
Indeed, if Rice was to move to the Etihad, Arsenal should have the necessary funds to compete for Caicedo's signature, with the Seagulls seeking £80m, according to The Times.
