Manchester City have 'lodged an official bid' for West Ham United's Declan Rice, according to stunning reports.
Rice has been courted by Arsenal, who placed a bid of £75 million plus £15 million in add-ons, which was rejected by West Ham.
Man City are now in pursuit of the England international and have made an initial offer as they look beat the Gunners to the signing of the star player.
The Blues have tabled a bid of £80 million with an extra £10 million in add-ons, per David Ornstein.

The Telegraph, though, claim West Ham have formally rejected the Premier League champion's £90 million offer for Rice.
Arsenal, who finished second in the Premier League last season, remain in the hunt to snap up the 24-year-old.
But their proposal, worth up to £90 million, which was rejected by the Hammers has opened the door for Man City to make their move.
Rice is contracted at West Ham until 2024, with an option for a one-year extension.

He helped his side to silverware last season, captaining his team in their Europa Conference League triumph.
Speaking after West Ham's victory over Fiorentina earlier this month, he addressed his future, saying: "I've still got two years left.
"There's so much speculation - I see it all the time - but I can't help that. That comes with playing football every day and doing what I do."

He added: "My focus, and it has been since the World Cup, is to win this trophy and keep West Ham in the Premier League.
"I genuinely don't know what's happening at the minute. That is my honest answer.
"To read it myself [the speculation], it's actually getting quite boring. Who knows what is going to happen? It's flattering to be wanted by a lot of clubs but the badge on my chest is West Ham.
"I've still got two years left on my contract and ultimately it is up to the people above."
