David Silva has never needed to be big or brash as a footballler – he's always allowed his quality to do the talking.
And now, it seems the former Manchester City midfield playmaker is taking that nose for quality into his side business, as a winemaker back in Spain.
Silva might be 37 and left City in the summer of 2020 – with four Premier League winner's medals around his neck – but he's still churning out the assists for Real Sociedad in La Liga.
The Basque club have enjoyed a stellar campaign in La Liga, currently trying to wrap up Champions League qualification and Silva has signed a contract extension until June 2024.

But the Spaniard still has one eye on his long-term future, even if that means ignoring the well-trodden path into punditry or coaching. He's heading into wine-making instead.
Four years ago, Silva joined forces with winemaker Jonatan Garcia and launched his own winery called Bodega Tameran, which is based in the Canary Islands.
According to Diario AS, the business is already proving 'lucrative' for the 2010 World Cup winner – whose former international teammate Andres Iniesta also has his own winery.

Garcia was recently asked about working with Silva and whether his passion for football spills over into wine (pardon the pun).
"Yes, he's a freak," said Garcia. "He is obsessive. When he does something he wants to be the best. It is the same with football."
Silva has spoken about the wine he produces and how he ended up in the industry in an interview with Expansión, Silva said: "Above all, they are wines that will tell you where they are from, you will know that they are from the Canary Islands.
"I discovered this world a few years ago in the usual way: you start going with slightly older colleagues, you try it, you like it, you become fond of it, you get to know".
