Al Nassr supporters have prepared a ‘new’ chant for Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of his official debut, only for eagle-eyed fans to claim they have ‘copied’ it.
Ronaldo left Manchester United in controversial fashion before signing for Al Nassr on a free transfer after Portugal’s exit from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been made to wait for his official Al Nassr debut due to a suspension he picked up during his second spell at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo recently featured for Riyadh All-Star XI in their exhibition clash against Paris Saint-Germain and scored a brace at the King Fahd International Stadium.
The 37-year-old Portuguese forward is expected to make his first appearance for Al Nassr when the Saudi Pro League club welcome Ettifaq to Mrsool Park on Sunday.
Footage emerged on TikTok (watch it in the video player above) of Al Nassr fans performing their chant for United and Real Madrid legend Ronaldo.

Fans could be seen with their arms stretched before they collectively slammed their hands together after a drum beat, with the crowd bellowing out Ronaldo’s ‘si’ sound.
However, other TikTok users were quick to claim the thunderous chant was not original and accused the Al Nassr supporters of copying it from Iceland fans.
Iceland fans famously delivered a spine-tingling Viking war chant, called the ‘Huh,’ during their country’s inspiring Euro 2016 run in France.

The supporters staged a booming handclap, coupled with a powerful roar seconds later, after Iceland dumped England out of the last 16 in a sensational upset.
“Everyone saying it’s Morocco’s chant, OGs know that Iceland started it off [at] Euro 2016,” one fan pointed out.
Someone else added: “Iceland should have copyrighted this before the Euros.”
“Oh, so they stole the Viking chant from my country Iceland,” another fan commented.
